Finally~a photo update!

Its been a LONG time since I've posted photos of Azlan. He has grown sooooo much. He's a very big boy...only 3-4lbs lighter than Zion who is 14mths older than him :) Zion is tall and skinny and Azlan is very stocky :)

About him: its often mentioned that he has a very high pain tolerance...tonight he fell off a set off wooden steps about 14 of them, head over heels ... and he cried for *maybe* 3-4 seconds and was on his way. He gets his fair share of bumps and bruises from falling and tumbling. He has always had a soft spot for his mommy -- lately he's 'warmed up to his daddy' as Dean says. He runs for him when he comes home...only to be beaten by Tirzah and Zion but he gets his turn of being swung in the air :)

He totally adores having a little sister. We often get asked about jealousy...we've never experienced it. We really believe that if each child feels totally loved and adored--they won't feel the 'rough' transition. He comes up to Azahria and says "HI" in the sweetest voice--often drooling on her :)

He was recently to his local pediatrician--and we mentioned his severe drooling. Which they think *may* be linked to his cleft. His doctor wrote a perscription so we will give it a try as he is now 21mths old and we really can't go 2 hours without a bib or his shirt is soaked.

We have to have another check in Seattle for his spine (he has scoliosis)...praying it has not gotten worse but wondering if it has. He has a bit of a funny walk--so we'll check that out soon.

He has the cutest thing ever that he does when music is on or even if Tirzah sings a song...he pushes one shoulder up and down, its like its his subtle form of 'dancing'. I love it, makes me laugh every time.

The other thing he does that we laugh at a lot is he will keep his head perfectly still and just move his eyes. Like...if he is talking to Azahria and he wants to know we are watching him, he won't turn, his eyes will just keep going back and forth from us to her...its so cute! Enjoy the photos...a variety from over the last few months...ones that he is in a hospital gown are from April when he had his Bayer Hearing Test done in the OR in Seattle.
